All Stays

Four of the cabins sleep 4-7 people while one larger cabin can house up to 8 People and the four-bedroom cabin can happily house 10. While all of the cabins are comfortable and have an almost elfish charm, three of them have a remarkable river view and all of them have private outdoor fire pits.
In addition to our cabins there are 3 Conestoga Wagons corralled around a fire pit in order to provide the most authentic portrayal of pioneer life. Private access to the ¾ bath assigned to your individual wagon, which is located in our custom-built bathhouse.

How It All Began
The Welcome Valley Village Story
Warnie Fennel started Welcome Valley in 1992 with a partner, Dexter Webb. They had just opened up the first 3 cabins to guests shortly before her breast cancer returned. She passed away in 1994 and Kevin and Jenny (Warnie’s Daughter) Rogers sold their house to purchase Dexter’s share to be sole owners and developers of the Village. The Rogers built The Pines, Cherokee Ridge, and their home, now called Chilhowee Cabin at the top of the hill in the following few years. They raised our son Jackson at the village and wouldn’t trade a day of it for anything. Jenny and Kevin poured their heart and soul into the Village for 26 years (1994 — 2020).
